Modular Side Table 1 Rooms.

The Modular Side Table 1 is part of Rooms' "Wild Minimalism" collection, celebrating "primitivity" and a return to nature. The materials used are natural and authentic, the shapes primeval, sculptural. Each piece is hand crafted using a traditional hand curved technique and unique. The Modular Side Table 1 features a metal tabletop and a wooden base, inspired by ethnic Georgian furniture.

Nata Janberidze and Keti Toloraia, co-founders of multi-disciplinary design studio Rooms, design pieces that are at the frontier between art and design. The craftsmanship behind the pieces is exemplary and the materials used noble : brass, wood, metal, mirror.

Described as "Georgia's emerging, avant-garde designers to know" by the New York Times, Rooms are one of the first design success stories to emerge from Tbilisi, and much of their inspiration is drawn from their surroundings and rich cultural heritage.
