This Privacy Policy describes how Teddy & Bear LLC and the website teddyandbear.com (collectively, the “Site” or “we”) collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.

Order information

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.
  • Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfill our contract, to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices, order confirmations and/or returns, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
  • Source of collection: collected from you.
  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processors Shopify, Zendesk, Ocelot, GSuite, Klaviyo, Amazon, Paypal, Cart Rover, Aftership and Postmen.  

Customer support information

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.
  • Purpose of collection: to provide customer support.
  • Source of collection: collected from you.
  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processors Zendesk and GSuite.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children. If you are the parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.

Sharing Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

  • We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
  • We may also share your Personal Information with our processing and shipping vendors, Ocelot, Cart Rover, Aftership and Postmen, or our customer service provider, Zendesk.

Behavioral Advertising

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For example:

Not used in ga.js. Set for interoperability with urchin.js. Historically, this cookie operated in conjunction with the __utmb cookie to determine whether the user was in a new session/visit.

Stores the traffic source or campaign that explains how the user reached your site. The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics.

When a person applies for a product, service, or program you offer.

A person applies for a credit card, educational program, or job.

When a person applies to a start a paid subscription for a product or service you offer.

A person subscribes to your streaming service.

ViewContent

A visit to a web page you care about (for example, a product page or landing page). ViewContent tells you if someone visits a web page's URL, but not what they see or do on that page.

content_category

Category of the page/product.

content_ids

Product IDs associated with the event, such as SKUs (e.g. ['ABC123', 'XYZ789']).

content_name

Name of the page/product.

content_type

Either product or product_group based on the content_ids or contents being passed. If the IDs being passed in content_ids or contents parameter are IDs of products then the value should be product. If product group IDs are being passed, then the value should be product_group.

contents

An array of JSON objects that contains the quantity and the International Article Number (EAN) when applicable, or other product or content identifier(s). id and quantity are the required fields. e.g. [{'id': 'ABC123', 'quantity': 2}, {'id': 'XYZ789', 'quantity': 2}].

currency

The currency for the value specified.

num_items

Used with InitiateCheckout event. The number of items when checkout was initiated.

predicted_ltv

Predicted lifetime value of a subscriber as defined by the advertiser and expressed as an exact value.

search_string

Used with the Search event. The string entered by the user for the search.

status

Used with the CompleteRegistration event, to show the status of the registration.

value

The value of a user performing this event to the business.

 

The length of time that a cookie remains on your computer or mobile device depends on whether it is a “persistent” or “session” cookie. Session cookies last until you stop browsing and persistent cookies last until they expire or are deleted.
